Description

The EKI-2541SI from Advantech is a converter used to transfer electrical signals from Ethernet network to singlemode fiber signal dedicated for industrial solutions. The module is equipped with 1 Ethernet 10/100Mbps port on RJ45 and 1 singlemode 100Base-FX SC fiber port up to 30km. The converter features fault monitoring via Link Fault Passthrough to diagnose network. The power is a 12-48 VDC redundant input design. Converter has Power Polarity Reverse Protect and an Overload Current Resetable Fuse. Each port of EKI-2541SI has 2 LED’s to show the link status transmission speed and collision status. EKI-2541SI features a solid, compact metal housing that rates IP30 protection.
