The IB21A795 analog inductive sensor from ipf electronic offers high performance in a small space.
The sensor has a linear characteristic curve with constant sensitivity over the entire measuring range from 0 mm to 10mm, making possible simple evaluation in the machine control. In combination with a resolution of 0.01mm and a repeat accuracy of less than 0.015mm and low temperature drift, it ensures a high process quality in use. The sensor’s various switching options can be set directly via the teach-in button. As a result, both an analog signal with zero point and end point in the measuring range (also invertible) as well as a window function can be taught easily and quickly. In addition to the analog signal from 0 to 10V, the sensor also supplies a digital signal between the taught switching points for evaluation.
The short response time of less than 3.1 milliseconds with taught characteristic curve and less than 2.5 milliseconds with the factory characteristic curve as well as the robust plastic housing in IP67 with M8 connector round off the performance spectrum of the sensor.
